Gothic Angst Webzine is always looking for submissions from people within the Gothic community. With this in mind there are certain guidelines that we ask you adhere to.
Literary:
- We are looking for works of fiction and creative writing.
- Please be sure that your piece is either 5 pages or less, or your piece can be split into several 5-page or less parts.
- Please be sure to include information about who you are. We cannot give credit if we don’t have name to give credit to.
- Please be sure that the piece is your own work. If we discover that the piece is actually another person’s work we will remove it from the site immediately.
- Please be sure that the piece is edited to your standards. We will not be able to edit your work, so if it is not to your standard, please edit and then submit.
Visual arts:
- As above, we are looking for original work.
- Please submit work that is in fact your own.
- Please be sure to give us enough information for us to tell people who you are.
- Please edit and crop any work to meet your standards. We do not want to edit images, and we do not alter artwork.
Music:
- Submit all music inquiries to the e-mail listed below.. You will be contacted for further information.
- With your initial e-mail please submit a bio or a link to a bio online.
- If we choose to include your music on the site we may want to conduct an interview and/or post pictures of the performers, please let us know what you have available.
All other sections:
If you are interested in writing for Gothic Angst Webzine in any fashion, please submit a writing sample or the story you would like to run. It will be reviewed and you will be contacted if we are planning on running your work in an issue, or if we would like you to write for us. For fashion or decorating articles please submit imagry with your article to demonstrate what you are discussing in the article. You are welcome to send the full article in the layout you would prefer in word format. Please do not submit PDF or other non-editable files as we cannot extract the text from the file and post the copy to the zine.
