Hello again, my dark and lovlies. Since I started this column, I’ve pretty much covered all the basics of fashion advice that I felt were truly important and necessary. That being said, I’m now on the lookout for things that will help my loyal readers really perk up their wardrobes and expand their Gothic horizons.

That is why I’m chaning the basic format of my column. From now on, along with fashion advice every now and again, I will be profiling retailers that I believe will really bring our sense of style and fashion up a notch. I also want to start profiling people who are fashion icons in our community, pick their brain and see what inspires their look, and how we can imitate without looking like a cheap knockoff.

When the next installment of the webzine comes out, I’ll have had a chance to go to Comicon (I love you, Chris!) and make contact with not only the large Gothic retailers, but also the new blood looking to break into our scene. My hope is that we will not only look absolutely our Gothic best, but also be able to share our look and culture on a broader scale.

So, for now, I leave you with these immortal words of advice: “Black is the perfect color, because it always matches with black.”
