Okay, so the time I got to spend at Con was flippin awesome! And very inspirational. The fashion I saw ranged from the expected (Jedi and Stormtroopers everywhere), the newly discovered (a group of people dressed as characters from my fave anime, Death Note), and the bizarre (a ninja banana?). One of my friends even found Waldo and Carmen San Diego! How cool is that?

The best part of Con, though, was finding new fashion to share with my beloved readers. Over the next couple of columns, I will be covering a jewelry maker, a ‘korsetier’, a Hollywood goth boutique which I know EVERYONE will want to shop at, and more. I wasn’t even able to see all of the booths at Con, but I know that I will be able to find more hot goth fashions to be shared.

As the days get cooler, and the nights grow longer heading into winter, we will emerge more often, dressed to the nines, and ready for some fun! One night where we will shine is Halloween, that wonderful night that we look forward to but once a year. Costume shops are already springing up right and left, bringing with them the bargain costume jewelry that we end up wearing year round, and some costumes that are real find when it comes to clubwear.

No matter what the event, stay darkly beautiful, and just wait and see what I’ve got in store for you!
